York is a German electronic music duo, founded in 1997 by musicians and brothers Torsten and Jörg Stenzel.
Specializing in electronica, chillout and trance with and organic twist, York made an impact on the european dance music scene with tracks such as “On The Beach”, “The Awakening”, and “Reachers Of Civilisation”.
Torsten Stenzel is a classical trained musician and producer, while Jörg – as a skilled guitarist – delivers most of the guitars parts.
“Farewell To The Moon” was their third hit and reached #37 on the UK singles chart in November 2000.
