Laurent Veronnez is a Belgian melodic electronic music artist. Laurent is also known by many aliases such as L-vee, Cloud 69, Cosmic Junkie, The Green Martian, Indoctrinate, Larry Laffer, Magnetix, Meridian, North Pole, Nova, Oddworld, Sagittarius, T’z Presents, Worf, Velvet Girl and more notably Airwave.
Laurent Véronnez lived in Brussels until he was 20. There he experimented diligently with all kinds of computers and synthesizers in his apartment. After sending his first demos to Lightning Records – the original label of the world-famous label Bonzai Records – he is signed and can achieve the first successes with his first releases with the projects PLG, Montera, North Pole and Magnetix. After the release of the first Fire & Ice 12″, which he produced together with Jurgen Leyers aka DJ Fire, he made his first international breakthrough. In order to be able to devote himself even more intensively to the production of music, Laurent Véronnez decides to move to Antwerp.
