Slacker – Your Face (In The Mirror) (1997)
Slacker, whose real name was Shem McCauley, was a British electronic music house, hip hop and R&B producer. He owned Jukebox in the Sky record label. He was also known under the names “Head Honcho”, “Ramp” and “DJ Streets Ahead”. Slacker, who was based in England, had released records on many labels including XL Recordings, Loaded Records, and Perfecto Records.
Slacker is a well-known UK production team which was responsible for hits like “Your Face,” and “Scared,” which became anthems of the mid-90’s progressive house/trance scene.
Sadly, Shem put an end to his own life in Bangkok, Thailand over the weekend of 21st/22nd January 2012.
