EDMclassics | 26 March, 2021

Renown Belgian Trance/EDM DJ & producer Mike Dierickx aka Push or M.I.K.E. relocated to New York City, USA.

Best known for the song “Universal Nation”, he has also released other singles including “The Legacy” and “Strange World”. The track was originally planned as a B-side to “Prisma” and was created on a Wednesday afternoon in the space of 4 hours. It wasn’t until intervention from Bonzai Records that it then became the A-side track. Mike was going to the Love Parade in Berlin in a few weeks and so the track name was named after it how everyone comes together to dance.

“Universal Nation” uses a small vocal sample from the 80’s sci-fi movie “The Last Starfighter” and the Roland JP-8000 was used to produce the track.
