Paul van Dyk – For An Angel (PvD E-Werk Club Mix) (1998)
Paul van Dyk who’s real name is Matthias Paul is a German DJ, record producer and musician.
He was the first ever DJ to be named #1 by Mixmag in 2005. By 2008 he has sold over 3 million albums worldwide.
The “For An Angel” was initially released in 1994 as a track on 45 RPM.
It was later reworked and re-released in 1998 as “E-Werk Remix” as homage to the E-Werk nightclub where van Dyk used to be the resident DJ.
Since its release, the track has become one of the greatest and most influential trance tracks of all time. It was voted as the eighth greatest dance record of all time by Mixmag readers.
