M&S was a British music production team consisting of garage DJs Ricky Morrison and Fran Sidoli. During the late 1990s and early 2000s they collaborated with various artists on remixes and their own singles, using a variety of aliases. M&S are best known for their song “Salsoul Nugget (If U Wanna)”, which reached number 6 of the UK Singles Chart in 2001 and number 1 on the UK dance charts.
M&S, using the name M&S Presents The Girl Next Door, collaborated on “Salsoul Nugget (If U Wanna)” with Natasha Bryce, who provided vocals on the track. The song contains samples of Double Exposure’s “Everyman” and Loleatta Holloway’s “Hit and Run”. Both artists and their respective singles are associated with Salsoul Records, hence the song’s title.
