DJ Jean (Jan Engelaar) is a Dutch DJ who started in 1988 as a hip-hop DJ and won the national mixing championships.

“The Launch” was produced both by DJ Jean and Klubbheads with the vocals by Natasja Morales.

The main riff in this track is borrowed from The Don – “The Horn Song” released in 1998.
