29 Palms – Touch The Sky (Vocal Mix) (2002)
Born and raised in the Industrial North of England (Leeds) and always drawn to the arts Peter Lorimer (29 Palms) became an “Exceptional Student” receiving a gratis Studentship to the prestigious Royal College of Music at approximately 11 years old. Then played in many successful bands including nationally recognized outfits and he toured the UK playing venues up and down the country from 12-15.
At 15 Peter discovered his mistress that would occupy the next 18 years, house music. Dropping out of High School Peter ran to London to seek his fortune in the newly exploding Electronic Music scene. Within 2 or 3 years Peter had figured his way into some of the top recording studios in Britain and had made himself invaluable by establishing the “who’s who” in celebrity clients including George Michael, INXS, Christina Aguilera, Terrence Trent D’Arby to name just a handful. Peter had over 25 #1 Hit Records in the Prestigious Music Week Dance Charts and then set his sights on the US in 1993.
Moving to Los Angeles that year it did not take Peter long to become the go to Remixer along with his partner Richard Vission whist still creating his own records culminating in over 30 more #1’s in the Billboard Dance Charts by his retirement in 2003.
